Mojisola Alli- Macauley, The Representative for Amowo-Odofin, Lagos State is currently been dragged by angry Nigerians on social media for saying Nigerian youths are always on drugs and they go on social media to post.
Macauley stated this during a sitting at the Lagos State House of Assembly while other reps were calling for the regulation of social media.
In response to this, Nigerians have taken to social media to state that she used COVID-19 palliatives meant for the people as sovernirs during her birthday celebration. Many have also stated that by this act it seems they are not the ones high on drugs.
They also put it to her that she comparing Nigeria and the United Kingdom in terms of unemeployment is that Nigeria’s rate of unemeployment is far worse than that of the UK.
