Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has sworn in Justice Henry Adebola Olusiyi as Chief Judge of Kogi State, and Justice John Bayo Olowosegun as President, Kogi State Customary Court of Appeal.
Their swearing in followed the approval of the National Judicial Commission and confirmation by the Kogi State House of Assembly.
Performing the rites at the Banquet hall in Lokoja on Tuesday, Yahaya Bello charged the justices to diligently discharge their duties with the fear of God, and in line with the constitution of the federal Republic of Nigeria and other laws of the State.
The Governor promised that his administration would continue to ensure separation of powers among the organs of government, protect the rule of law, and put the welfare of judicial workers on the forefront.
The new Chief Judge of the state, Justice Henry Adebola promised that the judiciary would ensure speedy administration of justice to all in the state.
