Communities who donate land for agricultural empowerment schemes by the Federal Government will enjoy great benefits .
The Executive Secretary , National Agricultural Lands Development Authority, NALDA, Paul Ikonne stated this while inspecting and assessing land for agricultural programmes in Abak local government area of Akwa Ibom state.
Four communities in Afaha Obong clan in Abak LGA of Akwa Ibom state are on the way to transformation thanks to the lands they have donated to th5e National Agricultural Lands Development Authority NALDA for an agricultural scheme.
Executive Secretary of NALDA, Paul Ikonne commended the communities for the wise move and said they would not have cause for regret, as it would bring development.
NALDA is charged with harnessing the vast potentials of land in Nigeria, by acquiring, surveying, and parcelling lands to farmers for cultivation.
