A middle aged man has committed suicide by setting himself ablaze in Jos, the Plateau State Capital, North Central Nigeria.
The incident which occurred on Thursday morning, 31st December 20202, took place at the Government Forgiveness Garden, also known as Peace Garden, opposite the popular Ola hospital.
An eyewitness by the name David Onuchay said that the young man whose identity was not immediately known entered the garden and poured petrol on himself before setting himself on fire.
Plateau State Police command while conforming the Incident through it’s Public relation officer Asp Gabriel Abah, said the command is aware of the incident and investigation is on.
As at the time of filing in this report, Security operatives arrived the scene and took the badly burnt body away
