Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, has survived a car accident with only minor injuries, according to an official statement released on Monday by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohammed.
The accident occurred along the Daura-Katsina Road, but authorities confirmed that the governor is in stable condition and has continued with his official engagements.
“Governor Radda remains in high spirits and has expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for His protection, as well as to the people of Katsina and other well-wishers for their prayers and concern,” the statement read.
In a personal message shared with the public, Governor Radda reassured citizens of his well-being.
“Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. Dear brothers and sisters of Katsina State and beyond, we are deeply grateful for all your prayers and concern. By the will of Allah, we were tested with a car accident—but Alhamdulillah, we came out safe and unharmed,” the governor said.
He concluded with words of appreciation and prayers: “Once again, thank you for your heartfelt prayers. Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullah.”
