TG Omori Raises Alarm Over Death Threats After Comment on Same-Sex Relationships

Nigerian music video director ThankGod Omori, widely known as TG Omori, has alleged that his life is being threatened following his controversial remarks on same-sex relationships.

The filmmaker stirred intense debate over the weekend after declaring on X that “Having same gender sex is evil.” His statement triggered widespread reactions across social media.

In a new post on Monday, Omori claimed he has been receiving death threats after an online magazine accused him of leveraging the controversy to promote his eyewear brand.

He wrote, “This is a media house trying to set me up and risk my life by gaslighting a global community they serve to blacklist me for speaking my truth in accordance to the laws of the federal republic of Nigeria.

“Death threats and wishes have been sent to me day n night, threatening my safety n security as a citizen, since after this article was published by @Zikoko_Mag,” he added while quoting the magazine’s post about him.
