Former manager of Afrobeats icon Innocent “2face” Idibia, Kaka Igbokwe, has confirmed that the award-winning singer was indeed arrested in London following an altercation with his pregnant wife, Natasha Osawaru.
Rumours of the arrest had circulated after 2face failed to appear for a scheduled concert on October 2, 2025, during his UK tour. Natasha, who represents a constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, had travelled with him for the event.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze, Kaka — son of the late music legend Christy Essien-Igbokwe — stated that “everything you heard about the couple’s face-off was true.”
Narrating the incident, Kaka said the confrontation began shortly after their flight landed in London. According to him, Natasha became upset when she felt 2face abandoned her at the airport after he was surrounded by fans who led him into a shop.
Kaka explained that the singer later realised she had been left behind and ran back to meet her, but tensions escalated into a heated exchange. The disagreement drew the attention of airport authorities, leading to 2face being arrested and handcuffed.
A video of the arrest, shared by blogger Tosin Silverdam on TikTok on December 1, 2025, has since gone viral, sparking renewed debate across social media platforms.
Neither 2face nor Natasha has released an official statement regarding the incident as of the time of reporting.
