Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has made a dramatic return to Al Nassr training in Riyadh, sporting a striking copper-yellow hairstyle.
The bold new look comes just days after the football icon tied the knot with his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, in an intimate private ceremony held in Portugal following his country’s exit from the 2026 World Cup.
The 41-year-old forward took to his social media accounts on Thursday to share photos of himself back in the club’s training kit. Keeping it brief, he captioned the images simply:
“Back 🟡🔵”
The pictures clearly showed a complete departure from the dark brown style he had rocked for years, including during Portugal’s recent World Cup campaign.
Ronaldo rejoined the squad after Portugal was eliminated by Spain in the Round of 16 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Al Nassr granted their talismanic leader additional time off to recover from the tournament and celebrate his private civil wedding to Rodríguez, which took place on August 11 in Cascais, Portugal.
The low-key ceremony was attended by their five children. The couple, who have been together for nearly ten years, officially confirmed the marriage by sharing a photograph of their wedding rings.
Last season, Ronaldo played a pivotal role in ending Al Nassr’s long wait for domestic silverware by capturing the Saudi Pro League title. He bagged an impressive 28 league goals to help his team finish top with 86 points two points clear of fierce rivals Al Hilal.
This marked his first major trophy with the Riyadh side since moving to Saudi Arabia in late 2022, as well as Al Nassr’s first league crown since 2019.
Upon his arrival back at the facility, Al Nassr head coach Ange Postecoglou and teammates gave their captain a warm welcome, applauding him during a team session in recognition of both his return and his recent nuptials. The club also posted images of his arrival online, teasing fans by asking who had turned up at the training ground.
Ronaldo is now gearing up for the upcoming Saudi Pro League campaign as a newly married man, with Al Nassr set to launch their title defense against Al Fateh on August 15.
Football enthusiasts and fans across social media reacted passionately to the post and his transformed appearance. Commenting on the life milestone, #Sumolaldowu wrote:
