The Body of the late wife of Nigerian Senate leader,Amaka Ndoma Egba has been taken to Ikom the country home of the husband enroute Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.
The corpse which was moved straight to Holy family catholic church in ikom,where a special service was organised in her honour witnessed prayers and renditions at the Church.
Speaking on how Amaka died young but as a fulfilled Christian,wife,Mother and a believer, the presiding priest,Rev Father Joe-Godwin Ojogu,said the story of the wife of the Nigerian Senate leader shown that whoever believes in Christ will live beyond the grave .
Her husband and former Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission,NDDC,Senator Victor Ndoma Egba said Amaka will be buried in a church she built,even when she didn’t know she will die so early.
Some of the family members who attended the special church service in honour of Amaka, said death took away their care-giver and comforter who will stopped at nothing in providing for them and their dependants even when she did not have.
Late Amaka aged 54,passed away after the vehicle conveying her and four others to Okitipupa, a town in Ondo State from Benin for a programme got involved in a ghastly motor accident she will bury this Saturday.
