The Nigerian Armed Forces say, it will continue to uphold its constitutional responsibility of training quality and tactical junior level officers, capable of contributing towards defending the territorial integrity of the nation.
The Chief of the Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai who stated this at the graduation ceremony of Junior Course 90, of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, charged the officers to make proper use of the knowledge to support the collective resolve of the Armed Forces to defeat the nation’s security threats.
The Chief of the Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai who was represented by the Senior Research Fellow, Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Major General Moses Uzoh, charged the officers to live up to expectation in discharging their responsibilities.
The Commandant of the college, Air Vice Marshall Abubakar Liman said, the training of the junior officers will be of mutual benefit to the armed forces, especially at a time the nation is grappling with daunting security challenges.
A total of 231 junior level officers from the Nigerian Army, Navy and Air Force, sister agencies, Ministries, Departments and Agencies and Allied officers were conferred with the PJSC, which qualifies them as tactical junior level officers, after 23 weeks of training.
