As number of covid-19 continues to rise in Nigeria, Schools in Ondo state will no longer open on January 4th, 2021 as earlier announced.
The schools will now open on January 18th,2021
The chairman, Ondo State Inter – Ministerial Committee on Covid-19, Prof Adesegun Fatusi disclosed this at a news conference in Akure.
Fatusi said the decision was taken due to the second wave of covid- 19 in the country.
While declaring the cancelation of cross over vigils across the State, Fatusi noted that effective mechanism will be put in place for enforcement of Law against the spread of the disease.
People above sixty years were also advised to stay away from large gathering.
