Popular Nigerian business consultant, Ubong King, has been confirmed dead.

His wife, Unyime-Ivy King made this known in a message available to the general-public via Whatsapp.

The renowned public speaker and security expert passed away at 48 years old after he had tested positive for COVID-19.

In her message to the general public, Unyime-Ivy said, “This is an open post to everyone just to respond to all who have tried to reach me that I am unable to respond to because of the volumes of the calls coming in.

“All I want to say right now is that my everlasting date Ubong King has completed the short 48 years assignment that our Lord asked him to do and he’s at peace now.”

King was a former chairman of The American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) International Chapter 206, Lagos. He facilitated and spoke at leadership and management retreats within and outside Nigeria.

He also curated the ‘ThinknationXX’ annual event that gathered people across Nigeria and Africa to help them with mental shift for business growth.
