Bauchi State Police Command have succeed in arresting an alleged rituals in Zango Jama’re Local Government of Bauchi State North East Nigeria.
In a press statement released by the police command spoke person Ahmed Wakil, one Hafsatu wada of zango jama’re Local Government reported that her niece aged 6 years female, of the same Address was found crying in a pool of Blood.
On receiving the complaint, the patrol team led by the DPO jama’re Division visited the scene and the victim was rushed to General Hospital jama’re where the Doctor confirmed that her private part has been cut off with sharp objects.
According to the statement, in the course of investigation one Adamu Abdul Ra’ uf aged 20 years of Gandu in the same local government was arrested for the alledged crime.
The statement added that on interrogation, the suspects freely confessed to have conspired with one Abdulkadir wada haladu of chikamidari area of jama’re to perpetrate the crime.
The said Abdulkadir who is the alledged suspects is currently at large as necessary measures is been put in place for possible and immediate apprehension.
The statement further explained that investigation is still on going.
