Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has seemingly confirmed reports of a crisis in his marriage to Natasha Osawaru following a recent incident at a nightclub in Abuja.
The singer addressed the situation publicly on Sunday, August 9, 2026, during Daddy Showkey’s “50 Years on Stage” concert, where he made remarks suggesting that his relationship with Natasha had become a source of trouble.
2Baba’s comments came days after an incident at a newly opened nightclub in Abuja, where he was reportedly scheduled to perform. Natasha allegedly arrived at the venue accompanied by some individuals and demanded to see the singer.
The incident generated widespread discussion online, with videos from the venue circulating on social media.
The development also followed reports that 2Baba had allegedly moved out of their residence and blocked Natasha from contacting him.
Amid the growing speculation, the singer had also unfollowed Natasha on Instagram and refollowed his former wife, Annie Idibia.
Speaking during his performance at the concert, 2Baba appeared to address the situation without directly mentioning Natasha by name.
“Going forward ehh, I don decide not to dey look for trouble again. I don go look for trouble, I don hear am,” he told the audience.
The singer’s remarks appeared to be a reference to the challenges in his relationship, as he described the situation as “trouble.”
A concertgoer then attempted to characterise the situation as an expression of love, shouting from the crowd, “Na love now.”
2Baba immediately rejected the suggestion, responding, “Na love? You dey craze.”
His comments have since fueled further speculation about the state of his marriage to Natasha, with the singer’s remarks being interpreted as his first public acknowledgment of the reported marital difficulties.
