In a condolence message posted on the official X handle of the Corps on Monday, the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, paid tribute to the late chief, describing him as a distinguished officer whose career reflected dedication, discipline, and commitment to public service.

Biu served as the seventh substantive Corps Marshal of the FRSC from July 2022 to May 2024.

During his leadership tenure, he contributed significantly to road safety administration, operational effectiveness, and overall institutional development across the nation.

Expressing solidarity with the bereaved, Mohammed offered prayers and words of comfort to the family.

“On behalf of the Management and the entire workforce of the Federal Road Safety Corps, I extend my deepest condolences to his immediate family, friends, associates and all those whose lives he touched,” Mohammed stated.

“We share in their grief at this difficult moment and pray that Almighty God grants them the strength to bear this irreparable loss,” he added.

Concluding his tribute, the Corps Marshal prayed for the repose of the late officer’s soul.
“May Allah forgive his Shortcomings and grant him Paradise (Aljannah).

“Rest in peace, Dauda Ali Biu. Your service to the nation will not be forgotten,” the corps marshal said.
