This was the question Senator Victor Ndoma Egba asked during the interred of his late wife Amaka Laureta Ndoma- Egba, at his Akparabong Country home in Ikom Local Government Area of Cross River State.
The Former Nigerian Senate Leader was however consoled with the words of the Catholic Bishop of Ogoja and Uyo Dioceses who were physically present at the burial ceremony.
Born on the 29th of may 1966,Amaka Lareutta Ndoma Egba whom many people who came across her while alive described as mentor, mother,welfarist and care-giver not only to her immediate family but to any one around her.
The testimony of her kindness may have brought many dignitaries from far and near including the deputy governor of Cross River State, former Governor Donald Duke and wife and many top note politicians,business men and legal luminaries.
In his Homily , Reverend Father Francis Eworo urged all human to prepare for death at all times.According to him, all materials things in life is Vanity. Eworo used Amaka and Victor Ndoma Egba as a good reference point of leaders whom despite their position in the society, always attend Church services and even built a whole parish of Catholic church from the beginning to the end.
While thanking those who came from far and near to support his family at this critical times,Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, said he will never mourn lhis late wife ,Amaka but always celebrating her at any given opportunity due to the worhty life she lived. According to Ndomaegba, Amaka demise has left a vacuum in his heart that no one can filled.

Born In Onithsa but found a lover in Victor over thirty years ago as a student in University of Calabar, the body of late Amaka, was interred within the premise of Our lady Queen of Peace Parish in akaparabong Ikom,the church she built with her husband in the community.
