Civil servants in Osun State turned out in large numbers on Monday, gathering at the state secretariat in Abere to celebrate the re-election victory of Governor Ademola Adeleke in the recently concluded governorship poll.
A viral video shared on social media platform X by user #DukeofOsun showed workers turning out en masse within the secretariat complex, dancing, singing, and rejoicing over the governor’s electoral triumph.
The jubilant scene at the government headquarters reflects a wider wave of celebrations across the state, as residents and party loyalists continue to make merry following the election results.
Governor Adeleke was declared the winner of the poll after defeating his main rival, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Since the official declaration, excitement has remained high, with spontaneous gatherings and celebrations breaking out in various communities and strategic locations throughout Osun State.
