Following the successful flag-off of his campaign in Yola, the governorship candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Alhaji Tijani Ahmed Galadima Aminu, has taken his consultation drive to Abuja, where he met with federal government appointees of Adamawa origin.

In a statement issued on Friday by his media aide, Adamu Sambo, the meeting provided an opportunity for the candidate to formally present his vision encapsulated in the “Adamawa Rising Agenda”.

Galadima described the agenda as a roadmap aimed at consolidating previous gains while introducing fresh policies and programs to accelerate sustainable development.

“Following the successful flag-off of his 2027 governorship campaign in Yola, the APC Governorship Candidate for Adamawa State, Ahmed Galadima Aminu, has taken his message of consultation, partnership and collective responsibility to Abuja, where he met with Federal Government appointees from Adamawa State,” the statement said.

Sambo noted that the federal appointees scrutinized the blueprint during the constructive engagement.

“The Federal Government appointees subjected the blueprint to thorough scrutiny and constructive engagement, and expressed their appreciation for what they described as a well-thought-out and comprehensive development agenda with the potential to provide a clear direction for taking Adamawa State to the next level,” he stated.

The media aide stressed that the Abuja engagement demonstrated the candidate’s dedication to building bridges, listening to varied perspectives, and forging broad partnerships for a more prosperous and inclusive state.

“The message is simple: Adamawa Rising is a collective project, and everyone has a role to play,” Sambo quoted Galadima as saying.

According to the statement, the stakeholders described Galadima’s outreach as a sign of humility and respect, pledging to return to their respective constituencies to mobilize support for his victory and other APC candidates in 2027.

During the meeting, Galadima expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for honoring the state through political appointments.

“At the meeting, the governorship candidate, Ahmed Galadima Aminu, appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Adamawa indigenes into key government positions at the federal level,” the statement added.

Galadima praised the appointees’ service records, describing their appointments as a recognition of their dedication to national development and commitment to the APC.

The APC flagbearer also commended Governor Ahmadu Fintiri for the transformation of the state and thanked him for the confidence reposed in his capacity to contribute to Adamawa’s growth.

Reiterating that building a greater Adamawa requires all hands on deck, the statement concluded with a call for unified action across all levels of government.

“For Galadima, the engagement is about much more than seeking political support. It reflects his conviction that the task of building a greater Adamawa cannot be left to government alone.

“It requires the contributions, experience, expertise and goodwill of all stakeholders, whether at home or serving the nation at the federal level,” the statement read.
