Police Arrested Fulani Arm Robbers and Kidnappers In Adamawa State

The Nigeria Police Command in Adamawa State has paraded 69 about 69 people alleged to have been involved in arm robbery, and kidnapping homicide and violence in different parts of the state in the north.

The police said 19 of them have been into kidnapping incidents and six others deals on threatening people with kidnapping and collecting money from them through the use of guns.

The suspects were paraded on Monday at the police headquarters in Yola also included 25 suspected Shila Boys who were mostly teenage boys and allegedly engaged in street snatching of valuables from residents.

Almost all the suspects arrested were identified to be Fulani Men who are mostly on the road Robbing and killing people.

The paraded by the police after series of intelligence report was given to the police about their alleged criminal activities.

The state Commissioner of Police, CP Olubenga Adeyanju, who arrested the suspects, said the suspected robbers were rounded up when operatives of the state police command and members of vigilantes and hunters, stormed their hideouts in adamawa state. They were taken unaware and at the point of their arrest many deadly weapons were recovered from them.

Investigation led to the arrest of a suspect that robbed Sule Haro and Solomi Ishaya and killed the husband, Pastor Ishaya, in April 2020 at Mararaba Boki in Gombi LGA.

He added that the suspected arm robbers gang also kidnapped one Aminu Hassan, Isah Usman and Hamza Adamu of Uba village in Hong LGA and demanded N10 million ransom before they were rescued.

The police commissioner Said that the have all confessed to their crime and are ready to face the law. According to the police commissioner what really surprised him was that almost all the suspects were Fulani men.
