Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe has shared a heartwarming video ahead of the grand thanksgiving ceremony for her triplets, describing motherhood as a journey from waiting and tears to wonder and thanksgiving.
The popular actress shared the video on her Instagram page on Monday as she continued preparations for the grand celebration with her family and well-wishers.
Reflecting on her journey to motherhood, Bimpe wrote, “From waiting to wonder. From tears to thanksgiving.”
She added, “There are some stories only God can write.
A journey that began with prayers, faith, hope, and countless moments of trusting God’s timing has brought us here today. Celebrating His goodness and faithfulness.”
Sharing photos of herself with her three children, the actress expressed gratitude for the blessing of motherhood, noting that she had gone from waiting to holding three miracles in her arms.
Bimpe, who welcomed triplets with her husband, popular actor Lateef Adedimeji, has continued to share glimpses of her experience as a new mother while balancing her career.
Reflecting on her motherhood lessons, the actress said she had learnt the importance of taking brief pauses to reset, adding that motherhood had shown her that love could be “loud, messy, exhausting, and incredibly beautiful.”
Last month, Bimpe opened up about combining motherhood with her career, describing the experience as beautiful but transformative.
She said she was learning that she did not have to choose between being present for her children and pursuing the things she loved as a career woman.
On Mother’s Day, the actress shared pictures of herself with her triplets and described them as “three beautiful reminders that miracles still exist,” while expressing gratitude for the changes motherhood had brought into her life.
In an interview with BellaNaija, Bimpe said she cried, smiled, prayed silently and repeatedly thanked God for entrusting her with the children, adding that motherhood had made her softer and more emotional.
On Children’s Day, she also shared a video featuring herself, Lateef and their babies, describing watching them grow as “the sweetest adventure.”
The actress has previously celebrated her transition into motherhood by saying that the things people doubted about her had ultimately become some of her greatest blessings.
According to Bimpe, “They said one, but God said three,” as she expressed gratitude for the sweetness her life had gained since welcoming her children.
